Huntsmans blue clay (Fullers Earth)

Blue fullers earth clay is extracted at Huntsmans as part of our limestone quarrying operations. Most is used in construction of silt lagoons in the quarry but this product is also available for sale.

Typical uses include pond/lake lining and flood alleviation banks.

The material would be classified as a Ca Bentonite and may have applications as a low grade absorbent.
