Huntsmans self binding "Cotswold Old English Path Stone" is supplied nationwide for use in a range of uses from parkland pathways to occasional vehicle parking areas. Indeed, anywhere you require a durable natural surface with that mellow cotswold colour.

The product is available in bulk or bags and is easily laid and maintained.

Made from a special blend of our 10mm and 6mm chippings with cotswold fines and produced at our quarry in the heart of the Cotswolds. For more information contact our sales department on 01451 850555.

Laying is easy.

First create the area to be surfaced. Then roll in a suitable sub-base of a 40mm material. Depth dependent upon subgrade material over which it is being laid but unlikely to be less than 75mm. It is recommended that Huntsmans special graded 40mm sub-base is used to compliment the colour of the path gravel.

Then apply a 40mm layer of Cotswold Old English Path Stone, raking in and rolling dry. Always ensure the surface has an adequate fall to allow it to shed water. Finish off by watering well and rolling again until a smooth surface is achieved. With time the surface will weather and a layer of chippings will cover the surface helping to protect the compacted fines below.

Bedford school (see left) was laid by Frost Landscapes, view more of their work at: www.frostslandscapes.com
