Fieldstone Slates

Fieldstone Slates have their origins in the
natural Cotswold slate that has been famously quarried in the North Cotswolds and is still produced today in limited volumes at
Huntsmans.

Today, Fieldstone Slates are the region’s
premier conservation slate used on prestigious developments throughout the area and are virtually indistinguishable from the original.

The slates are hand made using moulds cast
from original slates. Fieldstone Slates are made using only our quality Cotswolds stone and fibre reinforced for extra durability. They meet all the requirements of BS EN 491: 2004. The slates are an authentic warm Cotswold colour, graded in diminishing sizes and varied widths with a full slate profile for authenticity and nibbed for easy fixing. See Gallery

Fieldstone Slates are readily accepted by planning authorities, especially those sectioned to preserve the unique character of historic areas.
