Meet the Team

The Hanks family, which still retains significant interests in the business today, established Huntsmans 70 years ago. Our operations provide employment for some 40 people directly and many more indirectly making us one of the largest employers in the area. We can’t introduce you to our whole team but here is our Managing Director, David Glenn:

"The company is an integral part of the community and we are putting in place the building blocks for the business to continue serving the area for many years to come.

Huntsmans has, over the years, adapted to the changing circumstances. We are currently responding to the challenges of sustainability by developing new products and services, such as the new recycling and local concrete facility. We are proactively managing our biodiversity and have recently opened access to the Site of Special Scientific Interest we created.

Our team of people, most of whom are long-serving, really makes the business. Our emphasis is on safety, enjoyment and providing a good service, from taking an order to producing and delivering the goods."
